We wouldn't trade you our 2021 first for that package, primarily because we have a surplus, not a deficit, at LW.

John Gibson is easily one of the 5 best goalies in the League. Therefore, we wouldn't be trading him to fill just one need, because trading him away just creates a new hole. Think of a three- or four-element trade that addresses our needs for more offense, lack of RW talent, lack of RD depth, and a replacement for Gibson.

At full cap hit, Matheson is negative value. Retain 25% or so and you can probably trade him for future considerations.

The wild can get a whole lot better proposal than a 5th round pick for Ryan Hartman whose been damn good.

Unless the wild are out of it, don't see Minnesota Wild GM trading Ryan Hartman
