I agree. As of today #1 C Suzuki, #2 Danault, #3 KK, #4 Evans. Within 12 months 2 and 3 will switch, so the question remains, do you want to pay your 3rd line C around $5 M for 4 to 6 seasons? My answer is no, so my gut is Danault stays the entire year, but after playoff's he is traded.

I feel for Danault because he is such a great guy, but Suzuki is clearly #1 now and KK is so close to #2. With that said, both Suzuki and KK struggled in the faceoff's in last nights games and Danault and Evans took most of them in the 3rd period. In fact Toffoli was taking the draws in the 3rd period. So Danault still has value and should really help in the playoff's but I hope he lowers his asking price. He had 3 full seasons as the #1 C and never scored more than 13 goals.
