Dallas has probably one of the best dressing room chemistries, why ruin it.

I think LA is a better fit than most of these teams as far as turning him into a real defenseman.

Because the guy is on a reasonable contract for his strong offensive output & Dallas has been notorious for fixing "locker room cancers" since Nill came to Dallas. Seguin & Sharp were both sleeping with teammates wives/girlfriends & Radulov was said to have some real attitude issues before coming to Dallas. Given the Stars scoring issues (that have been re-exposed by the Canes), they absolutely should at least explore adding DeAngelo to the blue line to drive offense.

Not saying that locker room issues shouldn't be addressed, but I think everyone is overlooking the fact that a fresh start in a new city has done wonders for a ton of different hockey players & there is no reason to think DeAngelo can't be one of those guys that turns it around on the right team & in the right locker room.

When a teammate starts a fight with you, I don't think that you're very friendly.

A lot of players have gotten into fights with teammates before tbh. Biggest question is if this was just a “one off moment” or it’s been a repeated problem
