I hope he's bit more disciplined than Kadri but yes. I think he is very misused in Calgary and would fit nicely in the top 6. Was unreal in the playoffs last year and got rewarded with a 4th line demotion. I do think CGY would have to retain for it to work though.

What's with these Liljegren for Bennett posts? Bennet would be a great add to the team, but the price of Liljegren is too steep I think. He's still young and it could backfire very badly on us.

I don't think his ceiling is high enough to consider it an absolutely brutal backfire if he reaches his NHL potential. 2nd pair ceiling.

What these other people seem to forget is defencemen have always taken longer to develop than forwards. Trading Liljegren now would be insane, not only is he a likely top 4 D-man, he's a RHD at that.

Leafs don't have the cap for Bennett. Why do you want his 2.5m cap hit? Gee, wouldn't even trade him for Engvall never mind the foolishness of adding Liljegren.
