The rangers probably have the pieces if eichel ever asks for a trade. These aren't them.

Neither team does this... Eichel doesn't move unless they miss playoffs and Hall moves on... even then they still have good pieces around him and the ask for him is way too much. They would expect Laf, Kakko, Fox, Miller, Shesty and more for him.. no chance.. Eichel isn't moving unless its for a Bread/McD/Matthews/etc.

pld just got moved for laine and roslovic, circumstances were different with all 3 players wanting out, I expect if eichel moves it will be futures heavy with high value picks/prospects. The closest player with eichels value that might be available is barkov, but barkovs contract would be a huge concern. My guess is high value futures with some short term cap dump to facilitate, but it won't be cheap.

Barkov will be less than Eichel. Barzal got 7. lets call it 8.5M or less if he remains in FLA for the tax breaks
