Not the reports I've seen dude. While yes his play was an issue Sunday, Blues actuallysat him because of the trade talks. Blues actually called up Perunovich to the taxi squad this morning in preparation for this move so it's not surprising that this is happening.

Do I think Dunn will actually get anything of the above? No. But I'm more keen on the prospects then the picks.

Dunn has actually shown high level of play, but not this season. Just like PLD. He's nowhere close in value obviously, but he's shown how good he can be.

I have faith in Trotz's system. Always seems to work. The other thing is that first round picks this year, particularly those likely outside of the top 10, aren't going to be worth a lot. This is because this is really a crapshoot year for draft picks.

At 24 he's a highly sheltered 3rd pairing defenseman. I'd say that's not "pace to be a top-4 D".

Dunn was the 2nd most sheltered 3rd pairing defenseman in the league last year. Jokiharju played much harder minutes (top-4 comp) and his scoring rate was basically identical to Dunn's at 5v5 (0.68 P/60 vs 0.71). Jokiharju is a 21-year-old RHD, Dunn is a 24-year-old LHD. If I'm Buffalo, I'm asking for a pick back in a Dunn-Jokiharju swap.

They can ask but won't get it. Dunn hasn't been sheltered as much as people think. Does he get top line minutes? No, because the Blues have had a backlog of defenseman. At best, it's a wash. But Joki doesn't have any stats that benefit him outside of being RHD.
