I know Mantha's gotten off to a slow start but this wouldn't be a smart move for Detroit. Judging any player off such a small sample size is unfair. Mantha is still a much better player than Patrick as long as he starts playing like he did last year, and Patrick's injuries should still be a major concern in a potential trade. I get what you're saying about center depth but that can be addressed in the 2021 or 2022 draft, or even free agency without having to move Mantha.

I think it's great he has made it back and is playing well. Since he was diagnosed post-concussion syndrome he has to be careful because it will now take less to bring the symptoms back.

I agree. You could get Jimmy Devellano to call him out again. While I don't think it was right the first time he did it but it did seem to work the first time.

Mantha's not getting traded for less value than he's worth because of a bad game vs Chicago.

If Mantha gets traded it's a Top 4 Defenseman coming back.

Hell No, Nolan Patrick has far more health issues then Anthony Mantha, Patrick is one concussion away from never playing again. Mantha's in a slump due to being nearly laid off for 11 months. he'll get better and Patrick for Mantha isn't the answer.
