I think if they can get old Ghost back, they should be fine. but if they get current ghost, then they are screwed

Top6 is solid, bottom-6 is okay but they need a 3C. Top pair is elite, bottom-4 could work and G is great. Gotta have Bergeron and Lindholm on the PK.

I think Backes and Johansson can split time as the 3C

I want to put Bergeron on the PK but I dont want to exhaust him, in his prime, he wouldve been everywhere, but now hes 35 and hes only going down hill.

Better bottom 4 d and better bottom 6 a lot of names in those groups that haven’t exactly been super productive and at this point I think Backes is a liability, and Spezza at this point I would prefer a young high energy fast skater at 4C.

Backes isnt great offensively. But hes defense has been very good over the past couple years
Spezza was still effective in a 4th line role on the Leafs. One of the best 4Cs in the league last year

They are 36 and 37 and in a condensed season rolling that age isn’t a recipe for success. Backes is horrible offensively barely 20 goals in the last 3 seasons combined. Spezza at 4C is less of an issue but hey it’s all opinion.
