I really like this for both teams

Moving McNabb is the easiest and smartest move VGK can make. He can easily be replaced with Hague like you showed and will have a positive value in a trade.

I'd take this so fast. McNabb and Trouba play a similar style and trading Howden could get a much better replacement at the 4C. (Soderberg, Brassard, Boyle, Athanasiou, etc)

One guy I would have liked to see as NYR's 4C is Melker Karlsson, don't understand how no one has signed him.

Brett Howden is like the worst player you could trade for. Hes was a bottom 5 player in the league. Hes not an NHL player, he was bad everywhere on the ice. If Vegas is going to move McNabb, they should at least get a NHL capable player in return

Because on a 4th line you're expected to be good defensively, if you put a guy like Bjork or Vesey on a 4th line, you won't like the results. Does that mean that they can't do a third line job?

Don’t like this one bit for VGK. Would rather ship Martinez out of the defensemen. Howden doesn’t do anything for me and doesn’t crack our 4th line let alone third line.

Vesey was pretty much average everywhere this year. He was horrible defensively before. Bjork was a good defender. But you would expect good defenders to stay good defensively as the move down in the lineup. I get that they might regress if you move them up the lineup, but moving them down should only make their workload easier. Howden getting moved up should hurt the team more than anything, unless Vegas finds their next Chandler Stephenson in Howden
