I'd be surprised if Lundestrom ends up being eligible to be chosen. According to this site, he needs 40 games to be eligible. Not sure how they'll roll with pro-rating games played, but I can't imagine he starts with the team this year anyway.

Of course Seattle wouldn’t pick Zaitsev, there’s going to be a lot of $4MM defenceman available, they’re not picking a guy with that much term at that age. As for his abilities, if he’s bad, why have two coaches played him over 22 minutes a game? Yes he’s overpaid, and if he made closer to $3MM, skating 22+ minutes a game in three of his four seasons since being signed out of the KHL, there might not be such a hate for him. Some people have drank so much of the hate Zaitsev Kool Aid that they don’t think he’s even an NHL caliber defenceman, and that’s just ridiculous.
