GUYS ok this is for everyone

Stop making these and just adding the best players from the draft.

The canucks would not have EVER taken Pastrnak with the 6th pick in 2014, but they SHOULD HAVE taken Nylander. (as Nylander was 2nd ranked European but Pasta was the 5th ranked European)

So here is a GOOD example of what the bruins SHOULD HAVE done but not what i WANTED THEM TO DO

EDIT --- NOT GONNA LIE: after doing the senyshyn one, I went through each of the 2014-2020 drafts and I couldnt even find another change I would make. Thats the point. THERE ARE VERY FEW ACTUALLY CHANGES!! so IF you are going to do it, it should look like this so i quickly looked at 2013 and found one more to prove my point

AFTER drafting Debrusk (a LW sniper that they needed) and Zboril (equally ranked LHD with Chabot), they needed to take the best player left on the board. Barzal, a prior top 5 prospect who sliped in the rankings was the EASY choice. Senyshyn wasnt even a top round projected guy. THIS IS A GOOD REPLACEMENT

WITH THEIR TOP 2 pick in this draft the bruins took a D and a LW...

Arenson was the 13th best european skater and Cehlarik was 26th
However, with that 2nd round pick, the 10th best European was still available. With such a high ranked player left, filling a need, Buch was the player they should have taken in round 2 leaving the LHD for round 4 (players like Ben Harper, Ryan Graves, or Jordan Subban who the bruins could have taken to join his brother Malcolm)

I respect your attitude for this but Boston the last team that needs one of these since they got Bergeron in round 2 and Marchand in round 4 (? Not sure). Of course you said this your self practically.

Marchand was in round 3 and that was also 14-17 years ago. No reason to miss Barzal.
That being said, let's move on, every team has hits and misses.

Yes, I'm just pointing out Boston has had excellent success in drafting, that's all. Look at the oilers. Even the leafs until Dubas took over (and even him, it's too soon to tell).

Just try writing it differently next time and your comment will be good!

Nah exactly yall
My point was most teams dont NEED to do this at all, because MOST of it (like99%) is hindsight
Thus for this particular case, I did the one thing that I was mad about while watching the draft, and I was proven right. Like when I was watching the 2015 draft and saw that Barzal hadnt been taken yet, I was about to buy a Barzal Bruins jersey cuz hey they could meet 2 of their needs and STILL draft the best player left.

U are both right, and thats my point. Seeing these are dumb, so at least make it realistic like mine is here

Honestly, if the Bruins had drafted Barzal and Buch, I highly doubt we trade for Kase and Ritchie last year, And we also wouldnt be signing Smith this offseason. Meaning we wouldnt need to trade Krechi away. I'd also imagine that Barzal probably would've been playing on Krechi's RW, with the two of them swapping on occasion.

Yes, this is one of the few realistic teams like this I've seen. Good job.

Also excellent points, honestly would been a better team for those reasons as well smile

So if people look at this it might help us all

@Gofnut999 @yikes

I gotchu guys

Again, this is an example where it is actually realistic! I explained each pick and why it made sense AT THE TIME (being the key words), and oh yeah, despite the MANY picks I only had to change 2 things...

So yeah generally they suck, but I just wanted to give u guys the experience of a good redraft acgm!

Again, before responding to my comment there and ignoring this, take a look. Look at the description, the comments...

It is very clear to all that this is actually a well done "If they drafted well". This does it Correctly and doesnt use hind-sight... I explain why AT THE TIME each move was better (there are also only two), and I describe everything in proper detail (senyshyn being a 2nd rounder for example while Barzal was a top 5 pick who dropped to 15).

I looked at a long time ago. My statement still stands. Every draft redo post is dumb and pointless. No matter the circumstances.

And as i said on the other post. There is no such thing as a good one. No matter how well done or thought out. They all have to take the assumption that everything else stays the same. Future drafts, player development despite different org, needs, circumstances. Etc etc. But they won’t stay the same. So while it might look good on paper. It may not have turned out that way .
