They are a much better team and will finish ahead of them in the standings. A couple years ago Leafs' fans didn't try to shut down anyone who disagreed with them. But back then they actually thought they had a well-managed team that was going somewhere and was going to be a cup competitor. And boy were they smug about it. These days Leafs' fans try to ban anyone who disagrees with them because they know, deep down, that their management is as bad as it every was, their rebuild has been a train wreck and the team is going absolutely no where. They need to do whatever they can to try to maintain the fantasy that they already know is a delusion.

Cernak> Holl but but greater than Holl,Dermott and Bogo. Holl has a better cap hit and fits just fine. If Brodie were not signed adding one of Cernak or Weegar would have made more sense.

Not based off last year... historically Brodie is more proven but weeger was excellent last season and is more in line with what Toronto needs

Brodie had what I consider to be his best season last year. If we get that Brodie I will be very happy. Great puck mover dependable defensively and making smart decisions. Weegar seems to be fine when paired with Ekblad. Much like Holl with muzzin.

I like both Weegar and Cernak. Just don’t think it would be realistic to bet our years to push for a cup on mostly unproven players.

That entire right side could be great.... or it could circle down the toilet.

I’m also not a huge fan of turning the roster over more than it needs to be. Which it has already seen a tremendous amount of this offseason.
