Whether its an overpay is subjective. Some would say that its still not enough. The ultimate pipedream is to give up nothing and get him as a free agent but who knows how that will play out.

May be an over pay but there’s nothing there that really entices the panthers to move him. They have zero neee for deangelo, and there none of your top prospects. So you’d have to include kakko or lafreniere and one on your lhd prospects and not all this average quantity pieces.

The whole point is to not give up LAF, Kakko, Fox, Miller. But again this isnt the least bit realistic.

That package is a lot of quantity over quality. If it’s a legit over the package starts with Lafrienere and add from there.

Chytil, Kravtsov and Robertson are all great prospects.

Rangers don’t do this. It’s giving up way too much.
It would be deangelo or Buchnevich, Kravtsov/Chytil/Robertson, + 1st.

Players like this either don't get traded or get an underwhelming return because they have to be traded. Right now he doesn't have to be.

They are b prospects. Theyre not going to be anything more than 60 point players max. To get a top 10 center in the league you’d have to give up your top prospect and one of those players added on.
