I don't think they have Marner, Matthews, Nylander playing together

Statsny isn't necessary, Kadri is a good second liner

Parenteau won't be back

Zaitsev will get more

- Michael would work perfectly with Gardiner as they would compliment each other
- Matthews brings the all around 2 way offensive forward, Nylander brings the creativity and Marner brings the speed... that could be one of the best lines in the NHL in the future
- Statsny balances the Lines as Kadri works well with Komarov
- Parenteau did very good in TO and would love to be back especially knowing he isn't taking on that important of a role
- Zaitsev is unpredictable... currently he is bringing a good offensive presence to his game but really needs to work on decision making

Defenseman take a bit longer to develop... Vermont and Loov could both well crack the lineup... Nelson and Vailev need more time

Gone: And we are talking the summer of 2018, Some are easy due to cheaper, better replacements.....JVR, Lupul, Komarov, Bozak (I think he plays next season with the Leafs) Leivo, Michalek, Hunwick, Marincin, Enroth.
Parenteau...he couldn't crack the Isles lineup this as PTO. Another two years older of Cogliano and Stastny doesn't likely make this attractive to the Leafs.
Hyman looks like a guys who can have a six year or more career. Gotta figure he signs for more $ than 1.5m
Leafs are in position to good someones "fourth" Dman before the expansion draft....to go with Rielly, Gardiner, Zaitsev, Carrick and probably Dermot and maybe Valiev and Nielson. By 2018 Valiev will have been an AHL pro for three years. More time isn't needed. Either he's NHL good or he isn't Back up goalies tough to predict but it looks like the Leafs are grooming Bibeau (and I think he's good) for next years team.
Forwards not listed that have a real good chance to be NHLers....Kapanan, Johnson,, Lindberg who are currently with Marlies. Maybe Tishanov, and Brooks too.
Zaitsev...don't be so judgemental yet. He's played 9 games in the NHL. Matthew, Nylander, Marner shouldn't play together on the same lineup. (maybe the PP), Still need a crasher and digger which Hyman and I think Lindberg can provide.

I can't see this happening haha. The Leafs cap situation would be awful.
