FYI you're at least $1 million under both Bertuzzi and Mantha at minimal. Ladd wont make Detroit's lineup he's in Raymond's spot next season. Not trading Fabbri for Kesler whom is never going to play again plus you're not getting a 1st and 3rd round pick from Anaheim. Both Zetterberg and Kesler need to be on LTIR opens up more salary cap for us.

Don't think we should trade for Ladd. Buying out Abdelkader leaves Nielsen as our worst contract (with term) with 2 years remaining. I think we should focus on taking contracts with 2 years or less. Kesler is on LTIR so Anaheim won't give up high picks to dump him since he doesn't really count against their cap hit.

On a related note: Detroit fans -- is DeKeyser likely to be able to play this year?

Yes he is ready and fully recovered (for a back injury) and has been skating now for a while. But after a year off he will more than likely be rusty.
