Before the draft this is what I was thinking a Laine trade would look like but now with Perfetti in the fold we don't really need Frost.

I'd be looking for Konecny, Sanheim + pick or just straight up for Provorov. Otherwise we should keep him for the year and give him top line minutes to really inflate his value and see what he can do. Frost, Patrick, Sanheim and a pick will be there later too.

With adding Sanheim (or provy) we run into protection problems for the expansion draft and end up losing Pionk, so that needs to be weighed in a return of a Dman that happens before the expansion draft.

We have no rush to trade him so if we don't get a #1 top pair D or a 2nd pair D + Top 6 wing replacement on a value deal we should just hold and see if we can't sign him long term after next season instead.

Good point, Seattle is going to get a decent player regardless though. Yeah a package like this is the only thing I see the Jets considering. You need to solve multiple roster problems if you're trading a potential 50 goal player

I don't think the Flyers are willing to give up Konecny, even for Laine. Another year of development for Patrick and Frost could increase their value to the point where this doesn't work. I don't see the Jets winning or even tying the trade with known quantities coming back. I think they need to get some high-upside players and hope they develop into stars

A trade with Seattle seems inevitable at this point.

I think his argument is being more deserving of first line minutes than Connor
