No it isn't, It's not even close to what Winnipeg is seeking for Laine, They need Center and D help which none of them you provide here.

2 firsts and a decent prospect do not equate to 2nd overall in a strong draft. Would you trade Pastrnak for that package? Laine was on pace for only 2 less goals and 2 less assists as Pasta's age 22 season

With this roster those picks are 25th overall at best though... with Marchand on the 2nd line, two potential Richard trophy candidates, etc.

Ritchie is underrated, JS is promising and Winnipeg could use young depth but it's pretty underwhelming

Let me offer a thought. Minnesota steps in to front Dumba to WPG, which makes it DeBrusk, Dumba, and a first. All those guys have team control. MIN takes Studnicka and the later 1st.

Yeah it's wild given he may not even be in his prime yet and it's fairly possible he's the Ovechkin of the 2020s (IIRC about 1/4 of players peak between 24-34)

As an analytics person I have huge concerns naturally
