Apparently for Debrusk the idea is to bring in a top 4 LD and a solid RW. This is where the rumor of Hanafin + Mangiapane came into play. Who knows.

As for Carlo no idea why they want to move him but if hes available leafs need to be all over it.

You never checked to make sure Bergy was 1C! I think if Debrusk is traded its for a veteran who's better now but not in a few years - as you point out to compete right away. I wonder if Anaheim would be interested, cause both Lindholm and Rakell fit that description. Hjalmarsson would also be an interesting add at LHD if he wants to come. There's a lot of guys I like more than Brodie tbh.

This is pretty good. Tweak the contracts here and there, but conceptually I’m with you for the most part. My only bone to pick with this is Brodie. No interest. If that’s the best option, I would say just play Vaakainanen, and if he isn’t worthy go make a move for lindholm or OEL.

Brodie is one of the guys that could take that spot.

Studnicka, if he's ready, which he seems to. Lauzon will probably be in and out with Clifton. Frederic, not convinced yet, will need to see how good he plays at the camp

I wouldn't sign DeBrusk long-term, especially if he does want big money

Frederic should see significant time on Boston's fourth line this season, cheap replacement for Nordstrom and adds a lot of toughness.
