That's a pass for me. I like Manson, but a currently elite winger locked up for his prime for a 29 y/o #4 Dman with two years left and 9 draft slots? Sure, there is a drop in perceived talent after about pick 9, but no prospect is a guarantee and there is a very legitimate (albeit unlikely) possibility that the guy who goes at 15 ends up better than the guy at 6. Given the position the Leafs are in, why concede present value to slightly improve your chances at a better player in future?
I know this is not your trade, but it just doesn't make much sense to me.
