only thing that gives me pause from Nashville is Zboril would have to be protected in the expansion draft or we could risk losing him for nothing and we will have more than 4 forwards worth protecting as well. Could let Zboril marinate in the AHL a little longer to help mitigate that. I like DeBrusk though

That wouldn't be close for Josi. A top pairing defender with a low cap hit who is good on both ends of the puck and has size is worth a lot during the flat cap seasons. You can disagree, but a middle 6 forward and a bust prospect doesn't get you Ekholm - not even close.

If you can't defend you're players, that's fine.

DeBrusk can't stay healthy, 40-point player, 20-goal scorer (although he's only scored over 20 goals once and was shooting 17% when his other seasons are only 11%) -- I like DeBrusk, but he is a completely replaceable winger. And to top it all off, his contract demands are rumored to be too high and may force him out of Boston. He still has potential given his age (I don't view him as a true top 6 forward yet - which you apparently take offense to) and I like him as a player, but he has less value than Ekholm.
