Detroit passes. They have plenty of 3rd line forwards on the team now. The areas they need are 1st pairing LHD, 2nd line center,and backup goalie. If you want to swap him for Helm, Filppula (after Feb 1st), or Glendening all of which are on the last year of their deals and have the Wings retain salaries that might be more interesting to the Wings.

Flames trade doesnt make sense, Lucic is a cap dump, you dont need to match the first, let alone give them the earlier one. Im not a fan of Crouse deal... I think I'd rather just keep Bjork/Freddy/Vladar. Also if you do trade for Lucic, he wouldnt play L3 RW and Stud wouldnt play L4 LW, swtich them.
