Honestly I know what you are talking about. Not sure why Wild see him is a center. Maybe he got better as the season went on but the Sabres sucked so bad no one noticed? Evason had him in Washington and also sees him as a center. Maybe he works in Evasons system. As far as I can tell the move was mostly about getting faster so in that way success. Given Johnssons lack of history with Evason and Guerin I'm going to say he is not seen as a center. Yesterday was a weak trade for the Wild no doubt though.
Should add I don't think anyone in the Wild organization said he was a top 6 center.
