That's pretty terrible for TOR. Not anywhere near enough quality.

I like the idea of Bortuzzo in TOR tho

Throwing together a whole bunch of your junk and spare parts will not get you our 3C, and our best RHD prospect, a position we are terrible at.

He had 28 points in 65 games despite gaining TOI from Colorado days. I don't see you getting a first.

Yeah he got a 15 OA and a solid prospect.

A pick in the 25-35 OA range would get Kerfoot.

If nobody wants to give it then we keep him... very simple.

He was great in the play in round.

Lololololololol

If you'd watched the Leafs games from an unbiased eye, you'd know that there's literally nothing special about Kerfoot. His speed is average, his physicality isn't anything special...

He'll fetch a late 2nd rounder. That's it

You want a very high 2nd for him even though he's gonna get overpaid on a 1 year deal because of boosted stats from Panarin.

I'd take Kerfoot over Strome any day of the week.

If you wanna give other people a reality check make sure you give yourself one too... lol. The hypocrisy is real.

Did Kerfoot put up 35 pts with AHLer JP and 4th liner Khaira while dragging them? No he didn't, he played with actual NHLers that yer

Did Kerfoot put up a 0,5 and slightly more PPG pace on the 6th worst team in the league in 18-19? No he didn't, he played on a playoff team that went relatively deep in the playoffs.

So no we're not hypocrites, you just don't live in reality, just like the time you said BUF takes EP for RD and runs

Anyone who wouldn't do RD for EP doesn't know how to evaluate player value.

Its like Eichel (on ELC and 21) for Hughes (except Hughes is better than RD).

Any intelligent person would take that deal.

You're trying to make up all these excuses as to why Strome didn't play well in Edmonton. If he's so good why trade him? Just keep him or lock him up to term.

Anyone that actually watches hockey would take Kerfoot at 3.5Mx3 over Strome at 6Mx1.

that's absurd. There are many clear differences in potential, playing style, age, contract and control (him being UFA and Kapanen being RFA), and so on that make Kap infinitely more valuable. I'd be over the moon with a mid-2nd rounder

-a 19 year old d-man who's already a stud is BETTER than a 20 years old elite center. Sorry. Same reason as to why Chabot>Marner

-I'm not making any excuses. I'm stating the obvious, that player with 2 bums doesn't do anything to help you

-uh? Because he's not a fit anymore. Simple as that

-who says Strome would get 6 mil LOL? He'll get something like 4,75... RFA vs UFA

Chabot isn't better than Marner because Chabot would make a ****ty playmaking winger which is why that comparison makes no sense. You don't compare a right-hand playmaking winger to a left-hand defenseman. It's like saying steak is better than oranges. Well not if you're in the mood for an orange and that's the only time that makes sense.

What would you rather have? A 22 year old d-man capable of playing 26 minutes a game while constantly playing against the other team's top line, quarterbacking a PP and basically doing everything or an eite winger? If you take the winger you're dead wrong

It depends on the needs of the team in question. The two players are not individually comparable.

Okay if he signs for under 5M he'll definitely be worth more than a 5th. Go sign him...

You obviously know nothing about hockey. Why are you comparing Pettersson to Marner? Pettersson is a centre. Would be good if you knew something about players before you started talking about them.

I rather Eichel than Chabot.

I thought we were comparing an Dahlin to Pettersson. How did that change to Chabot and greedy Mitch?

Typical I lost the argument switch up.

Gunny isn't going to get you a 3rd. The Blues are not retaining on Bozak to get back Andercrap. And no to the Toronto deal, as we don;t want Kerfoot and we're not tossing out a pile of cheap contributors and futures for Lilly.
