Get Lundqvist his cup

Créé par: GOKAAKKO

Description
Kempny and Van Riemsdyk bring stability on D for the next two years as Lundkvist, Robertson or Zak Jones make it to the Rangers. Lars Eller does the same thing for the centre position and brings some Cup experience to lead the young 3rd/4th line. Vegas has too many talented young centres so we could take any of Glass, Krebs or Dugan.

This team has potential, but as we know, potential does not always translate to success.

Where do you get that Brodin will be lost for nothing next year? He's happy in Minnesota, he'd be open to extending as long as the term/money are right.

No chance Vegas does that trade. Minnesota wants an established top 6 center so they don’t do that trade either.

1) Why on earth would Colorado take on a 1 year rental backup goalie at a significantly higher cap hit and give up a young goaltender with some promise, straight up? The Rangers would have to pay Colorado to take Hank, and it wouldn't probably be cheap.
2) Trouba did not play well this year, you have him as an all-star "Victor Hedman" trade value. So, so far off. And the caps are looking to reduce their cap issues, not make them worse.
3) You are SO far off on the Vegas trade it's almost not even worth discussing. Cody Glass is their #1 prospect, they probably wouldn't trade Glass for Georgiev straight up much less WITH a first rounder. Whatever you're smoking can I have some?

I agree with 1 and 3, but come on you think that value is what Victor Hedman is worth. If you made that offer for Hedman your number would be blocked

The Capitals pass on this trade. Highest priority this offseason (after hiring a coach), is improving the right side of the defense, so there are scenarios where Trouba the player could be interesting I suppose. But his cap number and term makes him a *very* dicey proposition. If the Caps made other moves to create cap space, I can envision a scenario where the Caps might swap Orlov (very good 2nd pair LD) for Trouba. But I can't see paying much more given Trouba's contract.

1) Francouz, a young goaltender?? You do realize he's already 30 (!) and clearly not up to the job during these playoffs. Obviously, if the Avs feel they need an upgrade at #1, this trade is useless but with the talent they have, they need the goaltending to make a run in the coming years. This team should not be losing to the stars and clearly goaltending is the issue. For sure I'd be willing to take on an extra 1.5 million to limit the cap impact on the Avs.
2) This trade was suggested by a caps fan a couple of weeks back. Not sure what you believe is the great value I'm taking away from the Caps in this deal?
3) Stasny, Karlsson, Roy, Krebs, Glass. That's already 5 TOP9 centermen in the system. Pretty sure they'll need to make a decision on one of them at some point. If you value Glass that high, we'll gladly take Krebs. Mast sources say Rangers are asking for a top prospect and a high pick for Georgiev., I agree that's a bit high, hence why I added Howden (who's better suite for a bottom line C role) and a 3rd round pick which you seem to leave aside in your comment.

I'd be really surprised that a player in his position on a team that's not gonna be a contender before 3-4 years at least won't even consider his options before resigning. I hope for Wild fans I'm wrong because he's a great player!

I also think that he would be a critical part of the rebuild, more so as Suter loses the ability to eat minutes. If it goes well, he would finish his time in Minnesota contending. At least that's the hope.
