I'd rather leave engvall at 4C than move him to make room for Eakin. I don't like Severson, but even through my bias I know the Devils say no. Nobody will give up a first rounder for a 30 year old goalie with one year until UFA. Lehner got a 2nd, albeit it was at the deadline, but he is also younger and better. I'm pretty sure Oilers say no as well, but you'd have to confirm that one with their fans here.

As much as I like Andersen, that deal doesn't work for CGY. Too many options in the market that cost no assets or less assets. Talbot is very likely to return to CGY for under $4M AAV on short-term. So if that happens, and CGY chooses to keep Rittich around next year, CGY has no space for this deal, and keeps a valuable 1st rounder.
