I could see the Wild accepting that if the 1st round pick was the Pittsburgh pick. Holl can play this year, Liljegren is another D prospect in the system (though they need LHD prospects more) and 15th overall could be bundled with 9th overall to either move up to draft a center or traded for someone like Cirelli.

Honestly I am still on team Liljegren, i think he's going to be exactly the type of defenceman we need. Two way, terrific skater, really strong puck carrier and responsible defensively. He's 6'1 and 200lbs as well and has developed some physicality. He shouldn't be traded. He's 21 and still has leaps to take in his development

Thinking about it, I think the Wild would want Hallander more as a prospect. Guerin knows him from his time in Pittsburgh and the Wild need centers more than RHD with Addison and Menell in their pipeline for RHD. Leafs would probably be more willing to give up Hallander than a RHD they've been grooming in their system awhile.

I wouldn't be opposed to Dumba, I am just not sure it works for the long term cap. His term isn't long enough and I think under Keefe he could blossom and then cost us a lot more in the future, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it could prove to be hard to navigate with Rielly coming up for renewal soon. I still think unless it's a clear cut win of a trade, we should find a stop gap player like Demelo, or just wait to see how Lehtonen and Sandin look next training camp, if they don't take steps then you make a move. I think adding a couple guys like Loughton are more important to give the bottom 6 some snarl and jam

I almost have to respect the bias. Hopefully leafs nation doesn’t run him out of town when he becomes Justin holl 2.0.

Lashing out lol - I already won, the leafs couldn’t make the playoffs this season 😂. Can’t use the excuse of facing Boston anymore.

This season doesn't matter, Montreal beat Pittsburgh, Chicago made the first round and St Louis lost to Vancouver. I said from the get go this whole playoff is going to be a crap shoot. The Islanders may go to the Conference finals, it's all just chaos. Also you going onto other threads to single me out is just incredible. Just an angry little child. Hilarious

Goalies don't have much value atm, so many guys are going to be available. Nobody's paying more than a 2nd for Georgiev or he would be gone by now.

I think that's true and the 2020 first is a sticking point for moving Dumba, speaking as a wild fan. We just had Menell sign in the KHL so his future with us is a tad shaky though. I know Dumba isn't the perfect fit, but is there a more defensive RHD available? Just wondering if this is a deal that helps both teams but isn't the best match overall.
