We don't need more defense, we need more scoring. My problem isn't with Danault's talent, it's his game in general. If we didn't have Ek then I'd love him.

I’m really getting tired of the relentless 4 quarters for a dollar trade although this is more like 2 quarters, 3 dimes , 3 nickels and some worn out pennies with the odd Canadian tire paper bill tossed in for good measure.
At what point will Montreal fans realize that it should hurt to get a player like Laine. That makes a hockey trade fair. If it hurts but fills a required need, it’s usually fair. Unless they are offering KK or Suzuki, don’t bother!

Romanov possibly, but yes something that’s going to hurt, not something of abundance, something that will make it questionable if you should do it or not especially with the expansion draft around the corner
