(MTL/OTT) - Peca for Luchuk
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Leafs_and_Sens_Fan</b></div><div>What was the point of this trade?</div></div>
The point of these trades is to reduce contracts spots + getting assets for drafts. Then also it’s because MB is preparing a huge deal involving Tatar... expect to have 3 players in return for him.

If Canadiens are out of playoffs run, I guess they will trade Scandella, Tatar, Byron and Thompson

Plan for Bergevin
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Billy739</b></div><div>Poor Gusev lol
Hell will freeze over before Claude Julien plays a Russian over a Canadian , Ask Radulov who lost top RW to Gallagher as soon as CJ took over .(or Emelin who lost his spot in top 4 and PK unit to Benn )
Claude will play a Czech or a Slovak here and there but for some reason Russians always get fazed out no matter how good they are where ever Julien coaches . (Sergachev wasnt even given a chance by Claude , he was moved out for a Canadian ). Sadly Romanov's likely next unless Luke Richardson just deals with him exclusively.</div></div>
Mentality might be changing here. Habs need offensive low cost upgrade, their PP is suffering.. so adding a Gusev could be a low risk while doing nothing. Romanov is Russian also and Bergevin likes him. We’ll see in few years if he makes the team with Claude Julien.

Marner offre sheet
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BeastModeUnknown</b></div><div>and when will the Habs raise another cup likely 2078 something like that I would go to say Toronto wins a cup in 2020.
2 no because he made the cap work he has enough to sign marner to a long-term 10.5M contract hence the reason we have said they will MATCH.
3 no you don't have the best Prospect Pool, not even close to the best prospect pool, go look at Ottawa, and Minnesota, and Boston, and Florida, and Anaheim. All have better Prospect Pools than Montreal because Kotkaniemi, and Poehling don't count anymore they played NHL ice and they are staying on the NHL ice.
4 no you actually don't you have spent too much money on players like Price, and Shea Weber. Also called being a hypocrite if you have enough for another 2 10+M you are basically they same as Dubas. Stop playing on NHL 19....kid</div></div>
Suzuki- 42 points in Ohl playoffs (recently only McDavid and Marner has more)
Caufield- Broke Ovechkin 14 goals record in WC juniors and broke 55 goals Matthews record with 72 goals in 64 games.
Primeau- Best goalie of year
Romanov - MVP defenseman U-20 WJ tournament
Poehling - MVP U-20 WJ tournament
Josh Brook- Def of the year WHL
So yes we have the best prospect pool in nhl and the most balanced.. search in google hahah

Marner offre sheet
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BeastModeUnknown</b></div><div>You are 1 funny, 2 ridiculous, and 3 can I have some of the weed you are smoking???
1, John Tavares is the best Player on the Toronto Maple Leafs
2. Mitch Marner doesn't want to play for a team that well
<img class="for_img" src="https://thumbs.gfycat.com/SinfulReasonableHyracotherium-size_restricted.gif" alt="SinfulReasonableHyracotherium-size_restricted.gif">
3. John Tavares is worth as much as he is paid the guy who is overpaid and should be making less than 7.5 Million is Carey Price, and Shea Weber.
4. At least Toronto can make playoffs unlike the glorious Montreal Canadiens.
5. Toronto has 5 Defenseman signed to Contracts on the NHL Level Thank You, and they still have a couple Prospect defenseman they can use in the NHL too.
6. Toronto's cap situation works perfectly to fit 3 Players over 10 Million Dollars.
So uh have fun thinking they will offersheet, maybe next they trade carey price to Toronto for a 7th....</div></div>
1. I’m ready to bet that MTL will lift Stanley cup first than maple loosers LOL
2. Dubas thinks his playing nhl 19 on ps4 without salary cap
3. MTL has best prospect pool
4. We have space for another 2 players over 10M

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SammyT_51</b></div><div>Yup.. I mean.. some people just look at production and hohoho he had 94 points he is the best on the leafs.. no. I know I look at different stats and you too. Those show that he was carried by Tavares extremely, it is historically proven. Its just crazy to me how people dont see how amazing Tavares is. He is so good.</div></div>
Worst mistake... Tavares is overpaid... should be at 8-8.5M as Duchene or draisatl

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shifttee</b></div><div>I would think the best thing for MTL would be to stand pat this year, and invest in your young talent next two years
just my opinion though
Curious what the plan is next year when Mette and Domi need contracts and you're stuck with a penalty for cap overages from performance bonuses?</div></div>
Many contracts will expire in next season or 2 years. I’m pretty sure Bergevin will make some cap space for the young talent. We might need to trade another asset as Byron or Petry in 2/3 years just before the expansion draft (Seattle)

(MTL/CHI) - Shaw and 2021 7th round pick for 2020 2nd, 7th round pick, and 2021 3rd round pick
I hope we could see in MTL
Shaw in a playoff run.. but we missed playoffs last 3 of 4 years, he came here for his leadership and experience in playoffs. Now with the departure of Shaw, Hudon and Deslauriers we need bigger guys. Weise was not a buyout cause we need him when playing tougher teams or in playoffs. Tomorrow MTL gets more size. Lee 6’3’’ (7M max) & Gardiner at 6M max. If more i pass... Lets bring Leddy and give NY Lindgren + julsen and 2nd round pick
