Necas. You look at his 36 in 64 points and are probably not that impressed. Understand that the Hurricanes probably will not have a Calder winner with Rod as the HC. He hides the first year players to allow them to learn the right way to do things. Svech started on the 4th line and played on the 3rd line his 1st year. Both averaged 14 minutes a game, Andrei had 20 seconds more a game.
We will see his potential next season when Necas is given more of a leash. Hopefully he'll get 16 minutes plus and we'll see a good growth in scoring. We probably wont see a healthy jump like Svech but we could easily see 55-60 points next season. He was on pace for 46 this season.
