From the leafs, they would include him in a deal for nylander. They wouldn’t include his name in Taylor hall trade talks they sure aren’t going to move him for pending ufa goalies

Timmins is highly regarded by both the front office and coaching staff. He’s not small upgrades trade currency

I don’t move nylander in agm’s just not realistic. If there were a package of players prospects or picks I would consider it.

Their biggest need is a 2nd line winger imo - but it would take an overpayment since if they move Timmins it would also create a hole on RD in the future. Aside from Timmins COL only has Helleson as a RHD prospect who, at best, is still a few years away from an NHL spot. Timmins is the ideal kind of defensemen for COL anyway in terms of position and play style so I don't think Sakic will look to move him. As a bigger 2 way guy he should complement the puck moving D men COL already has (Makar, Girard, Byram) if he can be developed into a more steady defensive guy to be used on the PK
