That's rough. As annoying as he is, I don't want to see guys out of the series hurt and potentially more if you guys move on. My line of thinking was non-broken jaw is one game and broken jaw would be the series. With those two out, i'm not sure who takes a bigger blow Montreal or Philly

Though to say, Niskanen is solid and so is Gallagher but the latter only got going last game

I don’t know since I don’t follow Philly, but I’d assume that the difference between Niskanen & Ghost is much smaller than the difference between Gallagher and the AHLer that comes in the lineup for him.

Neither have been great this series. Niskanen being out throws the Flyers' d-pairs into a mess. Sanheim-Myers have been the best pair for the Flyers in the playoffs. Do you risk breaking that pair up to allow Provorov to get #1 minutes. If you pair Ghost with Provorov it probably means Provorov's minutes are going to take a hit because Ghost is too much of a liability on the first pair. Can Sanheim-Myers handle first pair duties? On Montreal's side, Gallagher is a real heart and soul guy who would probably be the one stepping up in game 6 & 7. Not sure who replaces him in the lineup, Poehling? The rest of this series will be interesting.

I think it huts both equally but if Niskenen isn't suspended the Habs will be looking for blood. I don't want it to happen but I can see guys like Domi and Weise taking it into their own hands if nothing is done by the league.

An elimination game isn't really the right time or place for that unless the score gets out of hand. Can't afford to be risking penalties like that in a close game, especially when Philly seems to have their power-play down.

I don't think they should either I was just saying I know Domi and Weise and those 2 hothead will be looking for blood if Niskenen isn't suspended. I kind of feel like it would be in Niskenens best interest to keep him out the rest of this series as well.

If Niskanen in the lineup causes Montreal to lose their temper and take dumb penalties then I think it's a good thing for him to be in the lineup for Philly. Niskanen can hold is own in a fight, too. With that said, Niskanen will probably be suspended for the rest of the series.

They won't be looking to just fight they will be looking to take Niskenen out of the series as well. These are hockey players. They view these situations as an eye for an eye. I hate that part of the game and would just rather see the type of hockey we saw through the first 4 games.

I even believe that KK's game misconduct was the right call cause it is his reaponsability to make sure the guy is not in a vulnerable position. I just want to see a good game where Montreal plays their fast paced hockey or Philadelphia is able to play their tight checking shutdown game. I love hockey not all this crap with bits of hockey thrown in.
