Curious why you think the blues would do that deal, trade their best player for a back up goalie.

I had this same idea a while back but it wouldnt make sense, he passes up shots too much, not as good defensively as we need, needs PP1 time and our left half wall is taken already

Defensively hes actually pretty solid and his speed kills im doing the other side of the trade I don’t think it’s as bad as it seems value might be off a tad but I think it’s a base

True but i think we need an elite defensive guy like a cirelli/danault/barkov/kopitar kinda guy

Allen has played good for STL the last two playoffs games. He's also the much more proven player, although his mental fortitude is in question.
