For starters FLA is looking to cut costs especially due to the pandemic, and you act like Dermott is not an NHL defenseman and that Liljegren is “just an AHL” player despite putting up 30 in 40GP as a 20year old defenseman. Weegar is an upgrade on Dermott but hes 3 years older than Dermott and is up for a contract and will be more expensive than him, Dermott is better than Matheson, hes cheap and would immediately be in FLA top 4.

Lindholm is more valuable than Nylander cause Lindholm and Nylander are pretty similar offensively, Lindholm is miles better defensively, Lindholm plays on every top line (pp and pk) and makes less than Nylander. Lindholm is more valuable than marner and Tavares because while they are both quite a bit better offensively, Lindholm is lightyears ahead defensively and making 1/3 of what they make. Therefore Matthews is the only way they trade Lindholm I know it wouldn’t be 1 for 1 flames would have to add a lot more.
