and i don’t think Krieder gets that much in return. He’s got an awfully big contract and with the cap staying the same for a few years you might have to pay to move him. especially to a contending team like colorado who is looking to use their cap space to sign guys they know will produce and do good for them.

Both are struggling with EDM so maybe Strome improves. Never know right!

Kreider is not a cap dump. He's only getting $6.5M and the term is long but a UFA contract wouldve matched it easy.

Dunn is totally worth that, I think STL even matches that. Given an ultimatum I think STL let’s Pietrangelo walk before losing Dunn. COL trade I’d rather include Jost but I think COL still accepts.

I would not give up that much for Dunn, honestly if they're really gonna offer sheet a d-man I would just go for Sergachev, pay him a bit more, and suck it up and add in the 2nd rounder, Sergachev imo is a better player at this point and has a lot more potential. Tampa also is more likely to not be able to match the offer.

The problem with that is that little tax rate difference between FLA and NY. Though it is going to be interesting to see what TBL does if someone offer sheets one of their RFA’s, will they go into a trading frenzy to try and shed cap in those fateful 7 days.

I think they would gladly trade 2 of those 4 to even at below market value to make room for Cirelli and Sergachev but it will be interesting.
