Haha, they have a whole bunch of 'em. Honestly, if they're not getting enough of a return for taking Boychuk, there's plenty of RD options available on the market. It's likely that the Ducks and Isles just can't matchup in this situation.

Yeah I think this is fair value for moving Boychuk, but I get why it might not be a good fit.

throw Leo in that leddy trade, get back a 7th and you don't have to trade bailey if you can retain 0.5M less on boychuk. Keep bailey for a year and let Seattle take him if they don't take Mayfield

Aho can play his offside as well. He’s killed it in the AHL and his underlying numbers from his 22 games with the islanders in 17-18 were very impressive. He defends well for a smaller defenseman, but trotz won’t give him an opportunity because of his size and lack of physical play...I have no doubt he’ll be a 2nd pairing defenseman within the next year if someone gives him an opportunity
