Every canes fan would love this about a month into the next season. While ever leaf fan is going to hate this so much. Pesce is not nearly as good as people think he is. He's a guy who fits in his system perfectly but lacks the skills to be great on his own. The Leafs would expect way too much from him and he'd disappoint.

i personally want Ryan Pulock but a isles fan convinced me why that wouldn't work and well you could also trade Willy for picks see if anyone would take on that contract and try and sign Hamonic and Demelo or Brodie i don't really know who else the leafs would want or could get

Isle fans have no idea where a good player begins and their system ends. As for any Willy trade on this site, is it surprising that literally every right handed defenceman apparently costs Nylander plus? Scoring is the hardest thing to do but somehow a guy who was on pace to be a 70+ point and nearly 40 goals scorer is worth a 2nd pair defenceman and the Leafs have to add.

i think the leafs have to add because teams know they are desperate for a RD and i dont think Carolina would be desperate to get rid of Pesce maybe Minny in a move for Dumba since they need some help scoring

The Leafs are not nearly desperate enough to just throw away a high value asset like Nylander or Marner.

No! Never, Dumba isn't that good. I literally would want a 1st and Dumba as a starting point. Nylander would be the best player in Minnesota and Dumba wouldn't make TO much better.

I am not sure what they should do. The core are not the problem and I agree they need more depth on defence. I think more than anything they need more time. They are still very young and these 5 game series are all a crap shoot. A hot goalie can win a series so fast in these. Price did it, Korpisalo did it and Markstrom did as well. I think TO needs Liljegren and Sandin to take steps next year. Lehtonen I think would have been a huge addition if he would have been eligible. So we'll see. I am all for trading Kapanen, or Kerfoot or any of the depth guys. They didn't do anything and I'm fine moving anyone of them for defensive help but I don't think they need to over spend for some older defenceman leaving his prime because idiots on this site want to see them bleed.
