Nothing. Foegele is a quintessential Hurricane and be decently cheap for what he will bring to the table. Nylander has too much cap hit for us to afford with Svech and Dougie’s cap hit. Like Nylander a lot but our management team wont sink the team for a solid top set of forwards.

No, Marner doesn’t make us a contender nor does it make sense to rush a rebuild as that’s how you get into one of those bubble teams that doesn’t get a top 5 pick and either misses the playoffs or gets bounced the first round. So with a lottery protection on that 2021 it will get deferred to 2022 and could be a top 5 pick or Shane Wright. So worst case scenario it’s 4OV + 32OV + Shane Wright. Best case scenario is remove Shane Wright and put so mid tier prospect. Detroit is lacking in centers and LHD, not right wingers so I disagree with you completely.
