I think if he has a bad year we try and trade him an if no takers, we don't protect him. Would be a solid building block for Vegas

Ranger fans should have plenty of ideas.....after all many of them are able to trade the contracts of Nash, Staal and Girardi easily.
My opinion is that probably no one in the East Conference would help the Flyers and there just aren't many teams that would want the contract without giving money back to the Flyers.

It's too bad the the Canucks signed Ericsson...maybe they would have taken Vorachek....in exchange for very little. At the least the Flyers would have cap space.
There will be very few "scorers" available to the Vegans. Maybe he has a good year and he's taken in the draft.

DirtyDangles probably knows best. I would think he could still be effective on his off wing. I'd prefer to play him where he is most comfortable though.

Soooooo what about the trade offer? Take Emelin and DD off our hands for this year and next and we'll give you a former 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder this year. on top of taking Voracek's contract off your hands.

I think we would need a top 6 guy in return. In my "16/17 Hextall wants..." trade I threw in a 1st and 3rd for Skinner and 2 2nds. I think that kind of thing would do it. Carolina would get a fairly high pick (Top 15 likely.) Skinner is good but hasn't performed like he should so Flyers and Canes are selling low, the Canes just get that 1st for taking cap

Geez not too long ago you wanted to lose him for nothing now you want Skinner and 2 seconds? I mean that makes more sense, I just don't know how you can go from No Voracek to Voracek for Skinner (essentially)

I over-reacted to his bad year...he still got 55 points. I think I was worried about Cap at that point but after doing many teams we have the cap to keep him no problem.

Moulson just isn't what we would need. Maybe if Buffalo really wants to move Kane after his off ice issues we could work something around that. Maybe Simmonds could smack some sense into his dumb ass.

I really don't want to give up Kane, but could Simmonds come and smack some sense into him anyway? Would adding Fasching to the Moulson trade make any difference to you?
