Flames 100% decline if they trade Monahan they are gonna need cozens coming back cause the flames don’t have any centres, I doubt that buffalo wants to trade cozens though but that’s what it will cost

Yeah I don't see how the Sabres would be able to make a deal with Calgary for Monahan. Maybe for Backlund if they want to make Lindholm 2C. Sabres are giving up Reino + 8 o/a and Cozens is projected to be Monahan or better w/in a couple of seasons so giving him up + Reinhart sets your team back significantly.

Rangers one is pretty off. Add Lias but replace MoJo with 8th overall and you have a conversation

I think our right side on D gets a lot worse with those trades and signings. Miller is solid and I think we are best keeping him at least 1 more season. Moving Risto would infuriate me unless we get fair value but that's a steep price for Monahan and an overrated LHD. I have little qualms moving Montour, he just doesn't have a roster spot anymore

I think this defense core would really struggle in their own end. You have replaced Montour and Risto with guys that have similar issues

Not absolutely horrible for the flames value wise, but the problem is it would leave a substantial hole at 1C. If byfield or stutzle was still there flames would take it (although I doubt buffalo makes that trade if those guys are there)
