Honestly I don't see JT waiving for the Habs but the return is probably close but most Leafs fans would say it's too low. Also Domi likely comes in at 5.5-6.5.

Totally his cap hit is too much and TO has zero need of him. He's a good player but isn't needed in TO. Just doesn't fit their needs. Moving him for two good players with good contracts should be a priority for Holland though, he doesn't play centre anymore and you can easily find 2 wingers who will have a greater impact combined that make less money combined.

Yeah he is overrated on this site, I think though what he is is what he's going to be. He's a guy who is a terrific 3rd liner and can move up without being a detriment. Him getting more physical is a very welcome addition to his game but many like to think he's a 60 point 30 goal scorer in the making. He could do that once or twice but I think he's more of a terrific depth guy.

Not saying sheahan is a good 3c option. But that doesn’t mean sell the longest serving oiler that fits in with Leon or mcdavid seamlessly. If one of Leon or mcdavid misses a few games he’s a top 6 c to fill void. He’s significantly better than those two listed both offensively and defensively so ya I’d gladly keep one nuge over them.
