The concept of Tavares for jones could kind of have some legs. Jones is the better, more valuable player, but JT has term that columbus might like.

John Tavares took his dream opportunity and signed with his home and childhood favorite team, and got a No Movement Clause as part of the deal. What makes anyone think he would suddenly waive that?

It’s called Auston Matthews. This the only player on the Leafs roster that colukbus would consider moving PLD and Jones for.... Tavares doesn’t get it done....

Well, gosh, I dunno. Would y'all be willing to trade Matthews and Muzzin for Jones and a bunch of other pieces that don't actually matter in this discussion because of course not the whole thing is patently absurd and what the HELL were you thinking?
