I don't see any way VAN moves Boeser to get rid of Eriksson; Brock is a core young piece. There would have to be a significant overpay, like a high 1st + coming back to VAN.

Cost of dumping Neal. Not going to nit pick but I don't think bumping it up to a fourth round pick would be a big fight over it

Can't afford both of them and giving everyone there raises coming up. Guess you could give up a first plus for Eriksson dump. Cap space just got that much more valuable with flat cap for next few years

True, cap space will be hard to come by. But given the window that VAN is entering I think they'd way prefer to give up picks and prospects to clears space rather than one of their current stars.

Taking Neal to a rebuilding team which has cap, doesn’t downgrade all the way to a 6th.

There’s other ways of getting rid of Neal, for a 6th with Puljujarvi. That’s not worth it. A different team may take him. I’m not losing Puljujarvi for nothing.

Well you aren't getting rid of Neal for nothing either. I think PJ's value in Europe and Neals negative value in the NHL are very similar
