I had an idea about if the leafs get 1OA somehow this year. They trade with detroit take the 4th overall and Seider. Cause if u think about it our dcore could become

Dermott-Holl

which combined with the big 4 could be interesting.

If they end up winning the lottery I would much rather have them trade down with LA's pick. I love Byfield, personally I dont think the difference between Laf and Byfield is that much and Byfield is a center. They would be able to use Kerfoot and whatever else they got in the LA trade to get a defenseman and they would be absolutely set

Can't see LA adding much to move up a spot. The minute you call them and ask if they want to move up they probably figure you've got Byfield ranked ahead of Laf, and that they might as well just stand pat.

LA has a ton of center depth and even if the leafs trade down they will still get a star. They really want Laf but if the trade up and pick Byfield the Laf will fall to 2 and the leafs will get a star plus whatever they would get from LA. I dont think the leafs will end up winning the lottery but if they do trading down is the smart move.

they will come up after seattle cause if Dermott gets taken our dcore than becomes. Issue than becomes Holl as Liligren wont have a spot
