Killorn

Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
First: Bruins dont WANT Killorn
Second: Bruins dont NEEEED Killorn (middle 6 wingers: Debrusk, Kase, Bjork, Coyle, Ritchie)

So IFFFFF they are gonna trade for Killorn, it will look like this. If they Lightning dont like this: then there will be no trade lol. Slight upgrade (which is why the bruins throw something in), and retained salary (which is why its a 3rd rather than a 4th or 5th) AGAIN bruins dont NEED him, so they arent paying 4.5 mil for a 3rd line winger which is why IFFFFF the lightning WANT to move him, they will NEED to retain

This only saves Tampa $750k in capspace while keeping $2.25m in dead capspace on their roster, while getting the much worse player back.

Needless to say there's no way Tampa does this trade. They're going to be looking to dump his whole caphit without taking salary back. I'm sure other teams will also be able to beat that offer too, such as Colorado or Nashville who would probably be happy to pay a 2nd + 3rd or a much cheaper forward straight up (eg. Jost) without any retention.

Oh and then there's the fact that Tampa wouldn't want to trade a good player to a division rival. Needless to say i can't see that happening unless Boston doesn't send back any salary AND offers significantly more than western teams do.

If they want killorn gone he'll be gone. Just domt expect a ton in return since tampa is over a barrel this offseason.

All well said.
Tampa doesnt want to do the trade with the bruins that is logical for the bruins, and bruins arent going to be stupid and give up more than they have to for a player they dont need.

So Bruins and Tampa DONT have a Killorn trade! Thanks for the support guys!

Ritchie is still fairly young with a small cap filling in his grinder role in the nhl.
Killorn is already 30, with a decent sized cap hit, and a few years left.

Killorn is better skillwise by a solid amount, but valuewise, killorn only has the edge by a bit
