Value aside, why would the Hawks want to move DeBrincat?

Man idk cap reasons, build up a better prospect pool because they are gonna need to rebuild for real soon with an aging Tavares, Kane, Keith, Crawford, Seabrook, Saad etc...

this doesnt really build up our prospect pool though. That's gonna be a late first rounder. Replace Grz and Zboril with Bjork atleast, maybe even Debrusk. This doesnt come close to getting it done though.

Agree, this makes no sense. Take a couple guys that have trouble sticking in the NHL, and a guy that's injury ridden plus a late first for Cat who's miles better then any of them and as young or younger? C'mon guy.

I mean debrusk + zboril will do it, but I doubt the bruins do it lol

Always felt Zboril would have already been playing on quite a few teams.

Three immediate NHL players. Don’t think that trade is far off at all.

If a suggestion is Bjork instead of Kase I would do that as well.

I did have Bjork in instead of Kase which can be done absoluly. Then the only reason i threw in Griz over like a Kuhlman (another solid top 6 prospect) was because bruins wouldnt have the cap to resign him.

How about Bjork, Kuhlman, Zboril, and a 1st?

Then the bruins trade Griz somewhere else for a 2nd and play Kase on the left side

Zboril is 23 and hasnt cracked the NHL yet and Kuhlman is 24 and had 6 points in 25 games as a center. Neither of them are attractive pieces at this point

Zboril has played behind 5 other good LHD, of course he hasnt gotten a roster spot. Also 23 is still young
Kuhlman just got out of college, and looked good this past year, he still looks like a good prospect (college players develop later)

Please do your research before making comments like that

It doesnt matter how old he is. 1 goal in 25 games as a 24 year old isnt good. That's a 4th line center. He isnt a prospect anymore. And for Zboril, if management saw something in him, they wouldve given him a game or 2 over John Moore, because Moore wasnt particularly great either. Im not saying they cant amount to anything. But they arent attractive prospects, and I am sure most people on this website outside of Boston would agree with me

And I'll say this too. Maybe they still figure to crack a lineup, but at this point their upside is questionable at best. Zboril figures to be a bottom 4 defender, Kuhlman probably won't get out of the bottom 6. You don't trade a guy who can score 40 goals for 2 middle to bottom 6 forwards and a bottom 4 defenseman. You trade him for another difference maker

Kuhlman could develop into a nice third line forward but I think thats his ceiling. Great depth player but i dont see him becoming a top 6 forward imo.

As for the trade, Grizz, Bjork and a pick would be my best offer for DeBrincat. I think Grizz is a great trade chip. If he can be apart of a package to get a legitimate top 6 RW im all for it. The only issue with trading Grizz though is we'll be rolling out Vaak and Lauzon as a rookie bottom pair.

In all fairness, Kuhlman still played well on the 3rd line, and is a college player (who tend to develop later anyway). Cant take him away from top 6 potential yet.
Also I dont think Urho makes it until next year anyway. This year would still be Lauzon and Clifton or Miller

Certainly good thoughts though and I was definitely thinking about Bjork over Kase
