Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

MTL could pass PIT in 2019-2020 preround but i doubt they'll go further. They should draft between 10th-20th. I think they'll draft a guy between : Quinn, Amirov, Mercer or schneider.

2021-2022 could look like this :

1st line : Tatar - Danault - Gallagher
2nd line : Domi - Suzuki - Mantha
3rd line : Hoglander - KK - Bennett
4th line : Lekhonen - Evans - Ylonen

1st pair : Hanifin - Pulock
2nd pair : Romanov - Weber

Purely cap dump to sign petriangelo

- Allen will be a pretty decent backup for price.
- Steen's been buyout so his impact will be of 3,417,000$ this year and 1,167,000$ in 2021-2022.

Yess the price seems to be high for this buyout but STL absolutely need something like this to keep Petriangelo and they bring back their 2nd pick which montreal have interest in it but they prefer a 1st this year. With a buyout steen could return at 700k$ in STL because he still have some good hockey to give.

Mantha value is higher than drouin but not that much so a second round pick of next year vs a 1st round pick in this pretty good first round year sounds a good deal to me. drouin cost less money than mantha and since DET is rebuilding he good be a great player if put with a good player.

Don't know if that offer gets you Nils and a 1st, think they'd be more interested by Domi but not out of the realm of possibilities I guess.
Can't wait to see what Blues fans think about this one.

Add a conditional 2nd from MTL In 2021 (DET) if he sign and also put juulsen in the deal. I made this trade because I though Canucks are close to be real contender and they’ll need a good rental at defense before signing Hughes,juolevi,etc. This is why I also put armia in the deal who would add depth for a playoff run and he’ll be UFA at the end of the year so yo have space on the cap for signing you young players.

Blues trade looks ok... not ideal but wouldn't be too crazy. The Blues could buy out Steen and save $2m-ish or they can do this move: move back 30 spots, save about $5m, and keep him on the team. Personally I'd rather find a different way bc there will be legit prospects at the end of the 1st round this yr and Blues really need to add to the pool.
