I dont think Detroit will retain 1.45M for 3 years for a low 3rd round pick.
The Jets probably dont take Cole. They need RHD not LHD.
Basically the trades and signing are all very optimistic.
If you had Pietranglo signing for 10M I'd say yes he probably takes that. 9M I doubt it.
Add that to the fact that you basically got maximum value and won every single trade.
I'd say this is pretty unrealistic
You could make the pick Detroit get a 2nd from Tampa instead then, easy fix.
I think Tampa takes that trade as they'd be getting a 1st for Killorn at the expense of a 2nd. Good upgrade.
I saw a Jets fan propose Cole for a 3rd which is why I used that. I figure that they can use a 4/5 LHD capable of heavy defensive minutes to insulate Heinola a bit.
Pietrangelo's options will be limited this offseason, so if he wants to play on a competitive team his options will likely be to stay in St. Louis or to sign with Colorado. The difference between $9m and $10m on a 7 year contract is $70m versus $63m. I think Pietrangelo could live with $7 less if it meant having 7 years of playing on a top contender in a nice city.
Winning every trade? Paying a 1st for Killorn is a more than fair trade given that Killorn can block trades to 16 teams.
What do you think Compher gets? A 2nd + 3rd for a very good 3rd liner/middle 6 forward/3C seems reasonable.
Kamenev is a 4th or a 5th, I went with a 4th because it's a year away in 2021.
Zadorov trade I agree might be a bit high return, but the point is more that Colorado receives a prospect in return rather than it being Holmstrom in particular.
