That depends on what they're trading him for. Heiskanen is as realistic as it gets but the leafs wont trade him

No. Trouba isnt that good and bunch doesnt offer them that much. Forwards are worth more then defenseman anyways

I don't disagree with you there, but pretty much every GM has always said that top pairing defensmen are more difficult to come by than top line wingers. All of them agree that elite defensemen are worth more of a premium than forwards.

no way. Marner is not heiskanen level, come on now. All-NHL young winger doesn't equal All-NHL young Dman.

Honestly if you change Heinen to Steel I take it- leafs just don't need the winger, and need that cheap 3C option. And you may need to do kakko's idea of the 2nd round pick swap
