I can't see WPG doing that. Laine is an elite scorer, and you don't trade that without getting elite talent back.

Having Laine is a guaranteed 30 goals at least.

Eh i dont think theres really any reason to these trades from the Rangers standpoint. Kakko will pretty much be at Laines level when hes 20, Buch is only like 25 and will be a very good top 6 right winger for some time before Krav steps in. DeAngelo is an elite scorer but with all the talent in RD i wouldnt mind seeing him moved as long as he at least tried playing LD. Strome too is a mixed bag and im for moving him this offseason for the better of the future. Absolutely not move the first as guys like Holloway, Gunler, and whatever guy drops from the the top 10 for whatever reason can be huge for us. Too much of an overpay by the rangers and i dont think WPG wants to seperate from Laine either

you can put Lindgren on the left of Trouba since he plays that stay-at-home style game. Also i woundnt mind giving a late first rounder for laine at all but with everyone combined i feel we get robbed

... not at all short on cap if u look at all the expiring contracts over the next two years. We’d flip niku after next year or protect him as we have no one else to protect anyways. This provides a buffer for the young kids coming up. And I’d rather have guys like hank and staal who are actually serviceable

Short on bonus money. Niku is a spare at best.
