Johnsson hasn't shown a ton (played decent last year on Toronto's loaded top line), is going on 26 years old, and coming off a major knee injury/surgery...would rather have Nylander over Johnsson; Nylander has more natural talent and more upside and 3 times cheaper. That said, Nylander for Johnsson is close in value; slightly more value in Johnsson MAYBE.

Kap for Murphy is close to even and if anything the value is in favor of Murphy being slightly more.

So what you've done is given Saad with $3M retained, who is easily the best player in this trade, and a 3rd round pick for a 4th round pick back.

No...the value isn't close at all.
